Email Services Setup and Administration

 

The following table describes the setup related to email messaging within MoversSuite.

 

Setup

Description

Account Profile Setup

Set email addresses for account contacts. Contacts with the Monitor Orders flag set receive email message automatically when the actual load and delivery dates change (see Monitor Orders Service).

Users can also email these contacts using a right-click option through the Account Profile tab (see Send Email).

Database Mail Setup

The Monitor Orders Service utilizes a Database Mail function.  The Database Mail must reference the mail server set within SMTP Setup.

Email Options Setup

Use this setup to define which key personnel receive email notifications for the various conditions within the Automatic Email Service functionality.

Local Dispatch Status Setup

Set the “Send email to key personnel when status changes” flag for appropriate status values to allow personnel to receive Automatic Email Service messages when the Dispatch Status changes.

Note Type Setup

The application sends out a message triggered by a Claim Alert through the Email Options Setup.  This functionality requires a type of “Claim Notification.”

Personnel Setup

Key personnel of order receive messages through the Automatic Email Service need a valid Email Address defined within Personnel Setup

Specifically, the following Labor Type values associate to the key personnel referenced within Email Options Setup:

SMTP Setup

Define the attributes needed to allow MoversSuite to communicate with a mail server within this setup.  The application references the SMTP values for all mail services.

 

 

Additional Requirements:

Send Email functionality requires Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Exchange server.
