SalesTrak Procedures

Before you can begin using SalesTrak, a number of files and system parameters must be created. Programs to create these files are accessed directly from the SalesTrak Maintenance menu.

 

The Initial Setup section will guide you though the required files that must be created, including the SalesTrak Control, Salesperson, Prospect Type, Reason Lost, Source and the Valid Entry files.

Once the necessary files have been setup, please review the Daily Procedures section for notes on the recommended procedures that are normally done on a daily basis, such as Prospect Entry, Account Prospect Entry, Quick Prospect Entry and Appointment Scheduling.

In addition to the Daily procedures, there are also a few procedures that should be done on a periodic basis. An overview of these procedures can be found in the Periodic Procedures section.
