MoversSuite Administration > Accounting and Financial Services > Reduction Lookup
Use this setup to define a range of values based on a selected order data to retrieve a rate from. For example, define a range based on miles of the order that returns a specific rate; so if the move is within 1 to 500 miles then return a rate of 3% and if the move is 501 to 999 miles then return a rate of 4%, etc.
The Reduction Lookup records are applied within the Reduction Template Setup.
Reference the data in the following table when managing these records.

Select the order value to base the lookup values on. The following options are available: Discount compares to the Discount field in Billing Information Miles compares to the Miles field in Move Information Weight compares to the Weight field in Move Information

Interpret the value returned from the range record(s) as either a Flat Rate (a dollar amount) or as a Percentage. |

Enter the beginning value of the range to compare to the Based On value to. If Based On is set to “Miles,” for example, then enter the starting miles value. |

Enter the ending value of the range to compare to the Based On value to. The value entered here must be greater than the “From” value. |

Enter the value returned for the specified range. If the Type is set to “Flat Rate,” then enter a dollar amount here, otherwise enter a percentage value, e.g. “1.25” for 1.25%, |
