Container Tracking Setup and Administration

 

Container Tracking setup involves defining containers and related values for use within the Container Management screen and related dialogs, including Assign Order, Assign Location, and Container Information).

 

The following table lists the setup areas affecting Container Tracking.

 

Setup Area

Description

For initial setup, MoversSuite recommends adding items in the following order:

1.    Container Status Setup

2.    Container Type Setup

3.    Ownership Setup

4.    Container Setup

5.   Security Profile Setup

 

Container Setup

Use this setup to create containers available to MoversSuite and managed through Container Management.

Container Status Setup

Create the status values that can be assigned to a container. The values defined are available through the Set Status available through a right-click menu in Container Management.

Container Type Setup

Use this setup to define the general category values to classify containers with Container Setup.

Ownership Setup

Use this setup to define the ownership values available for assignment to a container through Container Setup.

Security Profile Setup

Assign personnel to the “Container Tracking” module for the specific branch or branches they need access to. Users with “Read Only” access can only view containers associated to that particular branch (assigned within Container Setup) through the Container Management screen.

“Full” access allows users to all functionality within Container Management for the containers associated to that particular branch (assigned within Container Setup).
