Dispatchers can auto assign crew through the Assign Crew grid in Local Dispatch. Dispatchers can double-click on an individual employee or select multiple crew members and choose the right-click option of Auto Assign to Service.

The application auto assigns the person based on their default role, which is defined as the Labor Type in Personnel Setup with the Default flag set.
