In MoversSuite, dispatchers assign the contractor to jobs. This is necessary to have the jobs show for the contractor in MSCrew.
NOTE: If applicable, the topic name for that area of MSCrew is listed after the instruction and is in paranthesis.
If you wish to only have a single contractor add their crew to jobs, then they can locate and assign crew as follows:
1. Open MSCrew.
2. Locate and select the job within the Jobs page. (MSCrew Jobs Screen)
3. While on the Info page, click the ellipses button at the bottom of the Assigned Crew section. (MSCrew Job Information Screen)
4. From the Assigned Crew page, the lead can access each individual separately and punch them in or press the Punch In button at the bottom of the page. Once they choose the activity, then they can see all available crew to punch in concurrently. (MSCrew Assigned Crew Screen)
5. Press Punch In after selections are made. (MSCrew Punch in/Out)
6. Confirm the time and press the green check at the top right of the screen to complete the punch in process.
If you wish to have each person on contract crew manage their own punches, then they can do so using the following:
1. Open MSCrew.
2. Locate and select the job within the Jobs page. (MSCrew Jobs Screen)
3. While on the Info page, click Punch in the upper right corner of the screen. (MSCrew Job Information Screen)
4. Choose the activity from the Punch screen and press Punch In. (MSCrew Punch in/Out)
5. From the Punch In screen, confirm the time and press the green check at the top right of the screen to complete the punch in process.
Note that a dispatcher in MoversSuite can pre-assign crew to all jobs. The lead or lead and crew would only be responsible for their punch activity (punch in/out).
If assigning crew to overlapping jobs (same day and time jobs), then ensure that the Temp – Allow Overlapping Service Hours within Personnel Setup > Dispatch tab is set for each person on the crew. If this is not set, then users can only be logged in to one job at a time. In this scenario, these users will receive an error and prompt to log out of the prior job in order to log into the new one. See MSCrew Contractor Personnel Setup and the step regarding the Dispatch tab for more information.
