Use this setup to define the options available within the Type field dropdown within Claim Detail.

This is an example of a Claim Type Setup record. This record will list the option “HHG Claim” within the Type dropdown.

To create a new Claim Type:
1. At the top of the Claim Type Setup screen, use Click here to add new Claim Type.
2. Enter the name of the Claim Type within Type.
3. Select “Claim” from the dropdown within the Claim Number field.
4. Click Add to save.

Enter the names of the options available within the Type field in Claim Detail (up 128 characters). Examples: Property Claim HHG Claim Delay Claim Rebuttal Claim Cargo Claim

Associate the record to a format defined within Claim Number Setup. The application will construct claim numbers for this Claim Type based on the format assigned. |
