New Known Issue Added in the Known Issues Section

A new known issue regarding the processing of PDF Reports with SQL Server 2019 has been detected and the development team is making attempts to resolve this bug. Read more about it in the Version 2020 R15 Known Issues section.

End of Custom Work Tickets in Crystal Reports (EOY 2020)

Support for Custom Work Tickets designed in Crystal Reports ends on December 31, 2020. After this day, you can continue to reference MoversSuite data for existing Crystal Reports documents and even evoke Crystal Report documents through MoversSuite, however there will be no EWS Group support for this product.

 

Users can, however, use any of the following two options to continue using Work Ticket Reports:

 

1.    Switch to the default Reporting Services Work Ticket Report.

2.    Use the Custom Work Tickets feature to create a customized Work Ticket report, which has now been integrated with the Forms Designer feature.

 

The default Work Ticket Report will continue to be available as it is.

 

Knowledge Article Updates

Three new knowledge articles have been added for customers regarding Customer Refund (Knowledge Article: Customer Refund (By Check) Using Payment Management), Transferring Cash Receipts (Knowledge Article: Transfer Cash Receipt Using Payment Management) and Using Terms from Customer Cards (Knowledge Article: Use Terms from Customer Card in GP on MoversSuite Invoice).

 

HTTP-Secure Certificate Updated for MoversConnect (January 2020)

HTTPS certificate has been updated for MoversConnect. MoversConnect serves as a cloud-based RESTful API service residing within the Microsoft Azure “cloud” environment. Updating the SSL certification will keep data and client-server communication secure.

 

MSCrew Android Application Launched (November 2019)

MoversSuite has launched the Android version of MSCrew, a companion product to MoversSuite (an enterprise application for moving companies). It allows a moving company’s local moving crews access to MoversSuite data needed while performing onsite services of a move. (Requires MoversSuite licensing). End of Windows Server 2008 R2 Support (January 14, 2020)

Microsoft will end support for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 on January 14, 2020. If you are still actively running Windows Server 2008, we recommend that you take necessary steps to ensure that your infrastructure and applications are as safe and secure as possible. Web API Service Name Change (affects 2019 R07 and later)

The name of the Microsoft Services service for WebApiService has been renamed to MssWebApiService. This is to closely associate the service with the MssApiService. This change was made to assist you in managing the services within Window Services. Read more about this change within the Version 2019 R07 Fixes topic or within MoversSuite API Service.
