NOTE: This information is unique to our Partner Warehouse program.
The Receiving column will list all current transactions you are receiving into your warehouse.
How to Receive a New Inbound
This is how to receive a transaction that is not listed under Expected Inbound. In this case, this is considered “receiving a new Inbound transaction.”
1. Click New by Receiving.
2. Under Details, select the Customer/Project for this transaction.
3. Enter the Carrier, for example UPS or FedEx, and the Bill of Lading Number.
4. The Receiving date will default to today’s date and time. Update, if needed, as it is important to record the accurate date the product was received.
5. Enter any notes under Special Instructions you wish to relay to your Partner Warehouse provider.
6. Click Upload Transaction Documents to either take photos with your mobile phone or tablet using MSWhse or link documents or images from your system to this transaction. Include all documents related to this transaction, such as the Bill of Lading, Packing Slip, etc.
7. Click the Items bar to open the Items section.
8. Click on Item No. to choose the Item number of the product you are receiving. Use the dropdown, this search or click the photo icon to search for the item.
Note: If this is the first time you are receiving this item number, click on the edit icon (the blue pencil) next to the Item No to take a photo to add to this item’s details. To take the photo, click the edit icon (the blue pencil). From this Edit Item Number screen, click on Upload Item photo and take a photo of the item you have received. To save the photo, click Update.
9. Enter the total quantity received of this item number under Qty Received and under Quantity.
10. Choose Partner Warehouse for Location Type.
11. Choose your Warehouse Name for Location.
12. Click Add Item to add that line item. The item will now list in the Item Listing on the right.
13. Continue to enter items, proceed through Steps 8-12.
14. Once all items have been received, please click Save at the bottom right of the screen.
15. Once you have finished, send an email to your Partner Warehouse provider to notify them that transaction number has been completed and is ready for handoff. (The transaction number is the number shown in the upper left corner of that transaction card.)
Edit Item Listing
As Item Numbers are entered, they will list on the right of your screen in the Item Listing.
To edit a listed item:
1. Click the item’s edit icon (blue pencil).
2. Update Quantity Received and Quantity and Location Type and Location, as needed.
3. Click Update and the new information will list for that item in the Item Listing.
Delete Item Listing
To delete an item number, click the delete icon (trashcan) and that item will immediately be removed from the Item Listing.
