The MoveTrak module provides a means to schedule, document, and follow-up on key tasks which are necessary to effectively manage a move. Orders that are tracked in this system must already be entered in the Vans Order Entry screen.

This module uses key dates inVans (pack, load, deliver, and others) as ‘base dates’ to define and schedule the required calls or tasks. A range of days can be assigned to the task allowing the Customer Service Representative (CSR) lead time to assure the call is made.

Recurring tasks such as daily customer contact, call to other agents who are involved in the move, etc. can be included.

Tasks may be grouped by category. For example, there may be a category for the sales department, one for the dispatch department, and another for the customer service department. Each category would contain the tasks that each department is required to perform for each order.

The Action Report is a key feature of the MoveTrak module. This report prints a list of tasks scheduled within a specific date range. The report is printed for a specific category and can be limited to one CSR or all.

As tasks are performed, they are recorded as complete. The Action Report is used to select the orders that have active tasks. As each task is completed, the completion date and the name of the person contacted are entered for each task. The program creates a memo indicating that the task was performed.

Another feature of the MoveTrak system is the Missed Action report. This report is similar to the Action Report, but instead of listing tasks that need to be performed, it prints tasks that were not performed within the specified date range. This report can be a useful management tool to identify where problems may exist or which tasks require further follow-up.
