Information to have on hand before establishing Account Profile records:
•Account contact information including address, email, and phone number
•List of services supported by the account, such as offering bulkies but requiring to call a contact ahead of time, for example
•Special instructions needed for the account at origin and destination locations
•List of associated site addresses and site contact information
•Related documents, such as pricing, sales agreements, etc.
Setup Areas
This section lists the administrative setup areas that directly affect an Account Profile. Establish needed records in the following areas and then create Account Profile records that link to each accordingly.
National Accounts
Use the following setup to define national accounts for van line or own authority accounts. If you have an account that operates under van line and own authority orders, then assign the van line national account to the profile.

Customer Setup
Use the following setup to define customers for billing and to access Bill To and Invoice Terms information.

Tasks
Create a list of to-do items based on role and/or dates. Task Groups are utilized to provide additional filtering for personnel managing tasks for a team.

Personnel
Use the following setup area to establish personnel with appropriate security access for various roles on the account:
•Personnel Setup (Personnel > Personnel)
You can link personnel for the following roles directly to an Account Profile:
Salesperson (Labor Type of “Sales”)
Revenue Clerk (Labor Type of “Revenue Clerk”)
Transportation Coordinator (Labor Type of “Coor”)
Logistics Coordinator (Labor Type of “Coor”)
Commissionable personnel, those assigned to a Commission Plan, can be commissionable on the order and included as part of a Sales Team assigned to the profile. Personnel are commissioned through a Vendor and Commission Plan. Use the following to define needed vendors and plans:
•Commission Plan Setup (Accounting and Financial > Commission Plan)
•Vendor Setup (Microsoft Dynamics GP)
Services
Services that your accounts offer list within the Account Profile tab.
•Account Profile Service Status (Customer Service > Account Profile Service Status)
•Account Profile Service (Customer Service > Account Profile Service)
Office & Industrial
If utilizing the Account Profile for O&I moves, then you can save time by establishing building records and linking them to preset addresses linked to the order.
•Address Location Type (Customer Service > Address Location Type)
•Building Setup (Office & Industrial > Building)
Documents
If you wish to link documents visible to users through the Account Profile tab, then establish group and type records to assist in categorizing and labeling the documents.
•Account Profile Document Group (Customer Service > Account Profile Document Group)
•Account Profile Document Type (Customer Service > Account Profile Document Type)
Rating
If you wish to establish pre-assigned values for the Tariff/Rate, Contract Master, then establish records in the following areas.
•Rate Plan (Accounting and Financial > Rate Plan)
•Contract Master (Accounting and Financial > Contract Master)
Additionally, for rating associated to revenue generation and job costing, you can also link the account to a specific rating for labor calculations in the following setup area:
•Rate Schedule for Labor (Accounting and Financial > Rate Schedule for Labor)
NOTE: Additional setup is required to fully employ accounting and financial functions associated to rating, revenue generation, invoicing, job costing, etc.
If you wish assign a specific valuation type for the account, then utilize the following setup to document supported types.
•Valuation (Customer Service > Valuation)
•Valuation per Pound (Customer Service > Valuation per Pound)

Before you begin…
The following is a suggested order of initial setup of the Account Profile system.
1. Create Account Setup and Customer Setup records (using Microsoft Dynamics GP), if needed
2. Create a list of services and supported status for the services, then create Account Profile Service Status Setup and then Account Profile Service Setup records
3. Create a list of accounts, account contacts, and order defaults desired. Create Account Profile Setup records
4. Update Security Profile Setup records for personnel to access Account Profile functionality
5. If utilizing the Monitor Orders Service, then view this topic for additional setup areas needed
6. Refer to Account Profile Documents Setup for instructions on adding documents to profile records
