Note: This function is available at version 4.30 on higher.

Microsoft’s mainstream support for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 ended 4/14/2009 and 7/13/2010 respectively, which means that besides security issues, no other bug fixes or enhancements have or will be made to the OS as of that date.

Additionally, the latest version of the software tools we use to build MoversSuite no longer support Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Thus, although we don’t know exactly where any problems may occur, we cannot guarantee that the 4.30 version of MoversSuite is compatible with those operating systems.

We do our best to balance providing the fiscal conservativeness of supporting older operating systems with the ability to take advantage of the latest technology to improve our products. Given the timing of Windows’ End of Lifecycle mainstream support, coupled with our software tools, we’ve decided it has finally come time to tip the scale on supporting XP and Server 2003.

In the same breath, we’re excited we can announce MoversSuite 4.30 support for all of the latest Microsoft technologies: SQL Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8.
